The Brits celebrate Mothers' Day traditionally in March, but on the continent it all happens in May. It was a reason for the Anglo Dutch society to celebrate Dutch Mother's Day in style; Dutch apple pie with cream and coffee on Sunday Morning at "coffee time"!

Reden voor de Anglo Dutch society om uit te rukken naar de picnictafels van een Country Park voor Hollandse appeltaart met koffie, uiteraard rond "koffietijd", een nooit precies gedefinieerd tijdstip dat de Britten met vraagtekens achterlaat...

And than the apple pie eating and coffee drinking begins! Dutch people will immediately recognize the yellow tin on the table, which holds the delicious "Jewish cookies", another Dutch classic...En dan begint het appeltaart eten en het koffie drinken; mis vooral ook niet de bus overheerlijke Jodenkoeken op tafel!
